Project Villa Aliria : A sustainable ecosystem for impactful Alzheimer's innovation
Villa Aliria builds on over 30 years of groundbreaking research by the Neuroscience Group (GNA) at the University of Antioquia, and its esteemed partners, including Harvard University and ETH Zurich. Founded by Prof. Francisco Lopera and today directed by Prof. David Aguillon, GNA has achieved globally recognized breakthroughs in Alzheimer’s research, particularly within the unique Colombian genetic cohort. In collaboration with GNA, this center will continue this legacy of pioneering efforts, driving forward the quest to find a cure for Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases.
