Everywhere in the world, families are watching the memories of their loved ones fade away due to Alzheimer’s disease. Despite decades of research, we are still searching for ways to prevent or cure this devastating disease. As life expectancy rises, the number of those affected is set to increase dramatically, with a significant impact on healthcare systems and economies. While a global problem, Alzheimer’s largely affects women (∼ 71%) and will profoundly impact lower-income countries. Current approaches attempting to treat individuals in high-income countries have led to a significant research gap and a lack of inclusive solutions that address the diverse needs of Alzheimer’s patients worldwide.
We're establishing a foundation of precise medicine, equitable care models, and informed social strategies to prevent Alzheimer’s globally
Our strategy at HERENCIA aims to create inclusive solutions that address the diverse needs of Alzheimer’s patients globally, fostering a collaborative environment that leverages community engagement, cutting-edge research, and healthcare strategies. By focusing on early-stage management, comprehensive caregiver support, and the development of accessible healthcare infrastructure. At HERENCIA, we integrate the three critical impact pillars — social support, healthcare, and research advancements — to address Alzheimer’s disease more effectively and to foster a holistic and sustainable approach to health and well-being.
